Blockchain Developer

The team is looking for an experienced Blockchain developer with a strong software engineering background. The ideal candidate has worked on and shipped web3 dapps and products and has written smart contracts from scratch for EVM or Cosmos.Preferred Location - Province of Quebec, Canada

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild a scalable blockchain-based applicationDevelop necessary code base in Solidity and/or other backend-oriented languagesDevelop the specialized modules using Substrate for custom blockchain platformsParticipate in a research process about traits, solutions, trends and security measures required for proper use of blockchain technologyWrite Blockchain smart contractsWrite and helping to maintain automated testsIdentify security risksProvide accurate timing estimates on workContribute to documentation (instructional and technical specification)Discuss technical solutions and providing innovative new ideas to established problems

What you bring:At least two years of professional experience with Solidity programming languagePrevious experience in building enterprise-grade solutions for specialized platforms (Blockchain, AI, Finance, etc.)Good knowledge of security best practicesComfortable setting up environment from scratchInitiative, self-motivated and able to work as part of a teamWork well under pressure and to deadlinesComfortable working in an agile, scrum environment

Nice-to-haves:Experience with CosmwasmExperience with Cosmos SDKStrong interest in DeFiBilingual English and French
