Backend Developer

For one of our clients, we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Senior Backend Developer (at least 10 years of experience) to join our tech team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the development and ongoing optimization of our platform, relying on our current technical stack (Vuejs, GraphQL, Apollo, Prisma, Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, and PostgreSQL).

Main responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend systems.Optimize existing backend features to improve the speed of execution of queries on the platform.Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-oriented elements with server-side logic.Ensure the quality of the produced code and implement unit tests on new developments.Refactor and optimize the existing codebase.Understand the fundamental principles of DDD.Master the use of monorepo tools like Turborepo / Nx.Participate in the migration of features currently managed on the front end to lighten the navigation for our users.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer, preferably in a high-growth startup environment (scale-up).Senior +++ in Typescript / JS / NodeJS / ESM Specifications / Internal packages.Senior ++ on GraphQL, PostgreSQL.Senior + on Docker, GCP.Excellent understanding of functional programming.Use of a schema validation lib (Zod or similar).Use of a testing lib jest / fast-check.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.Masters in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
