Job Title: Backend Node.js Developer (NestJS) v

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Backend Node.js Developer with expertise in NestJS to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions for our web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets our clients' needs and exceeds industry standards. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using NestJS and Node.js. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services. Implement authentication, authorization, and user management features using best practices and industry standards. Develop and maintain databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices. Optimise backend services for maximum performance and scalability. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies, trends, and best practices. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or end-users to ensure smooth operation of the application. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js and NestJS development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, or Passport.js. Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of software security principles and best practices.
