Nature and Scope of Job
The Sr. ServiceNow UX/UI Developer will be responsible for responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices.
Primary Responsibilities
ServiceNow development, ServicePortal, UI/UX design, and ServiceNow process workflow. Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices. Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements. Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead. Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis. Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers. Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows. Develop common UI components for re-use across the application portfolio, leveraging Agular JS. Convert a set of current UI components from Backbone to Angular JS. Ensure code is in compliance with architectural standards and future direction. Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement markup/designs
Qualifications
5 years of direct ServicePortal development experience with ServiceNow. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (preferred), ServiceNow ServicePortal Micro-Certification (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3+ years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow, ServicePortal prototype and Wildframe. Modern JavaScript Libraries (Angular, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery). Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular JS/Bootstrap 3 framework experience. Understanding of UX best practices. Experience with process flow documentation creation
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Compensation
Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 140000 -160000 per year
The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.
Both full and part time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part time employees may be eligible for paid time off.
