Azure API Developer

Role: AZURE API DesignLocation: 100% RemoteContract: 6 Month Contract to HireVisa: USC or GC Only

Qualified candidates must have a strong enterprise background and at least 10 years of experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI 2.0/3.0) in an Azure environment.

Experience 8 plus years

Responsibilities:

Helps the API Product Owner structure API User Stories to business features and requirements and define acceptance criteria.Performs high-level Impact Assessments of changes in coordination with a system of record teams.Design and document REST APIs as Products using Open API version 3. x standard.Establish and govern the API schema domains with other API Designers to ensure consistent data models.Documents non-functional requirementsUpgrade designs of existing APIs to facilitate new business features.Make sure correct API versioning is applied.Apply security by design.
