Senior API Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud deployments on Azure, along with a strong background in designing and developing API/Microservices on Kubernetes platforms. Additionally, familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git, Azure release pipeline, AppDynamics, Cassandra, and ELK is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing robust API/Microservices solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.Implementing cloud deployments on Azure and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.Writing automated tests using frameworks like Mockito and JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.Integrating API authentication/authorization mechanisms, with a preference for OAuth2.Working with message brokers such as Kafka and Active MQ for efficient communication between microservices.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.Maintaining and optimizing SQL databases, as well as familiarity with Snowflake Database.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong focus on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.Proficiency in cloud deployments on Azure and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud Storage, and CI/CD practices.Strong understanding of microservice architectures and containerization technologies (PCF, Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with testing frameworks (Mockito, JUnit) and automated CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of API authentication/authorization methods, particularly OAuth2.Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, Active MQ) and SQL databases.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
