PHP Developer

This position requires experience with Object Oriented Development in the LAMP Stack.

The Lead Developer will have responsibilities for developing and troubleshooting web and mobile applications, primarily in the PHP / LAMP Stack and other object-oriented programming languages. They should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end languages, frameworks and libraries.

The Developer must be a team player with strong problem-solving skills. The Developer will lead a growing team of Developers and Sr. Developers.

This position can be fully remote and will work on Eastern time zone hours. This is a permanent position with benefits. Salary is in the market range, based on experience.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleWillingness to work on variety of projectsExperience developing web and mobile applicationsFamiliarity with CakePHP, Laravel or similar MVC frameworksKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX designExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong debugging skillsGreat attention to detailOrganizational skillsBachelors in CS, IT or other technical discipline OR equivalent industry experience

Qualifications:6+ years scripting, programming, and coding in OOP PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (6+ years preferred)Basic Windows, OSX, Linux/Unix skillsMySQL, Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL experienceKnowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)Project management / bug tracking software experienceDNS management
