Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Shopify App Developer. The Shopify App Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining and testing Shopify store apps. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and other developers, to ensure the highest quality experience for users. This role requires experience in Shopify app development and an understanding of the Shopify ecosystem.

Qualifications Excellent knowledge of Shopify liquid templating language and its conceptsProficiency in Web development languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React JSUnderstanding of Shopify's API, RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIsHands-on experience in developing and publishing Shopify apps on the Shopify App StoreUnderstanding of Shopify's data model and database schemaExperience with version control software, particularly GitAbility to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience or equivalent expertise in Shopify app development is also preferred.
