What you will be doing at EvalueserveProviding technical leadership for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.Researching new Oracle database versions, features, tools, and technologies with an Enterprise perspective to meet customer needs while maintaining a secure database environment.Researching, benchmarking, and suggesting improvements to database support processes, customer experience (CX) improvements, and compliance requirements.Providing 3rd and 4th level cloud (Oracle, SQL Server, etc) database support for complex issues.Participating in and managing database related projects, database security patching audits, and compliance reviews and testing.Developing new and updating existing database technology related documentation as neededParticipating on customer driven and Division/department projects.Working with a geographically distributed teamLearning new technologies and applying them with an enterprise perspectiveActing in a self-directed manner, independently researching tools/libraries/technologies or solving a problem with minimal oversight and instruction

What we're looking forBachelor’s Degree in related fieldExpert in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (shell, Perl, emcli)Advanced knowledge of SQLDatabase Lifecycle Management (DBLM)Oracle Fleet Management module to deploy automated patchingOracle Database Administration skills managing Oracle database versions 12c and 19cOracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)Manual database patching and database upgradesInstalling Oracle release updates (RU) security patches on data guard, multitenant, stand alone and Real Application Cluster (RAC) databasesDatabase performance management and database hardware configurationLinux / UNIX operating systems (RedHat and AIX)Aware of cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWSAware of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Root cause analysis (RCA) processesAware of database security threats and security best practices
