Must to have skills: • 6+ years of experience building complex distributed systems • Identifying and overcoming scalability challenges • Working on a database or data warehouse • Working on a scalable and distributed system in public or private clouds • Proficient in SQL and the Python programming language Tools/Systems client uses and need candidate to have experience with: • Detailed working knowledge of AWS Lambda, APIGateway, SAM templates • Knowledge of API deployment strategies (EC2, Lambda) • Solid knowledge of database implementations (Data Vault, SQL server, MongoDB, Data Warehouse) • Detailed working knowledge of SQL on Snowflake, AWS RDS Active • Proficient in the Python programming language • Work cross functionally we don’t only work on code that we own, we work with other parts of Snowflake every day • Learn about and contribute to query engine internals, performance debugging, building highly scalable and maintainable systems, and much more • Design and develop features, understand customer requirements and meet business goals • Enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake and improve the experience of the data developer • Analyze fault-tolerance and high availability issues, performance and scale challenges, and solve them • Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance · § The candidate will have over 6+ years of development with active hands-on development roles on medium-scale production deployments of front and back ends.
