SUMMARY:
The CIAM Engineer is a skilled technical professional who assists in designing, implementing, and supporting identity and access management solutions. The CIAM engineer will join a team embarking on a major transformation journey that moves Arvest's identity services into a SaaS solution, modernizes the customer identity experience, and integrates multiple stakeholder applications into the new service. This role will be on the ground floor of a next generation identity platform implementation using the latest, state-of-the-art products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs, implements, tests, and operates advanced identity solutions in compliance with technical reference architecture. Guides conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration across teams. Provides engineering designs for new identity solutions to reduce fraud and improve customer experiences. Develops code to customize identity processes or interact with APIs. Assesses identity tools and features and integrates tools as needed. Maintains technical documentation. Consults with other developers and capability teams to analyze and propose identity-related standards, methods, and architectures. Develops identity (authentication, federation, authorization, and lifecycle) test cases for use with cross-functional teams. Possesses the ability to use logs and monitoring tools to troubleshoot and debug issues throughout the technology stack. Provides actionable and constructive feedback to cross-functional teams Provides education and support to team members on identity-related topics. Participates in developing security training and guidance to internal development teams. Understands and complies with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to the job duties. This includes but is not limited to; completion of compliance training and adherence to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a Technology-related field of study, or equivalent work or military experience, required.
3 years of experience working in identity, or related disciplines, required.
Direct-hands-on experience in implementing and supporting multiple components of the Ping Identity suite or competitive equivalents (such as Okta or ForgeRock) is required.
Experience configuring identity provider and service provider components in federated integrations.
Experience working with standards and protocols typical of an identity solution environment, such LDAP, SAML, Oauth, OIDC, SCIM, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/HTML, etc. is required.
Proven work experience as an identity management engineer is required.
Working technical knowledge of APIs, Containers, and Microservices is preferred.
Working technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization is required.
Experience in the design of user journeys/workflows and digital user experience is required.
Software Development Experience In Java Is Required.
Knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols, is preferred.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
