HL7 Developer/Analyst The HL7 Developer will join a team of HL7 Devs working for a large enterprise Healthcare organization. This is a contract / hourly opportunity with no current end date. Candidates must live in Eastern or Central time zones of the United States and be US Citizens, Perm Residents or have a current EAD. Candidates must be able to work M-F 9-5pm EST or similar schedule.

The ideal candidate has been developing interfaces in a healthcare space and using HL7 and cloud tech for a few years.

HL7 Developer/Analyst DutiesDevelop - Implement programming, configurations and changes to parse, filter, and develop accurate data ingestions via HL7, flat-file or APIs.Use and build Azure DevOps projects, pipelines, repos to ensure SOC2 compliance and programming policies. Help build Azure DevOps project structures to help standardize project best practices.Conduct validation testing to ensure changes produce the desired information in appropriate formats.Work with internal teams and client project managers to produce requirement specifications and establish timelines for delivery.Create and maintain appropriate documentation for work efforts and configuration changes.Clearly communicate and consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.Participate in capacity planning, assignment of work, team meetings, and stand-ups.
HL7 Developer/Analyst QualificationsDegree in Computer Science or related technical field.Minimum of two plus (3+) years developing complex HL7 ETL, SQL and T-SQL queries, PowerShell, XML, C#, AWS, JavaScript. Strong knowledge in database architecture, programming, and performance conceptsTwo plus (2+) years of IT experience in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of integrations in the health care sector, including Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Workflow Designer, and Azure DevOps.
