Responsibilities

Provide support for applications and systems in a production environment, ensuring timely issue resolutionReview requirements and translate them into documented technical designs for implementationDesign and develop new features using the Agile development process (Scrum)Maintain high-quality standards at every development stageEnsure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of systemsTroubleshoot and maintain code in large-scale, complex environmentsCollaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutionsOffer technical input for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architectsStay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvementImplement solutions aligned with business objectivesMentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering their skills and career growthParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsContribute actively to architectural and technical discussions

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Java development experience in a production environmentExpertise in server development in Java, covering both functional and non-functional aspectsProficiency in HibernateExposure to Microsoft Azure for managing cloud-based infrastructure and applicationsStrong familiarity with Microservices architectureDeep expertise in the Spring Framework for developing scalable and high-performance applicationsExperience with SQL Databases for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and viewsKnowledge of messaging systems such as JMS and Apache KafkaExcellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in test-driven development (TDD/ATDD)Experience with REST and SOAP web services
