Job Summary:
The full-stack Java/JavaScript developer's primary function will be the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and support of custom web-based Java EE applications. They collaborate with project teams on design specifications, write clean and efficient code following industry best practices, and debug and troubleshoot issues in software applications.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of custom web- based applications which includes the development and modification of front-end and back-end code.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.Collaborate with project teams on design specifications and system requirements.Design and implement new features according to specifications.Assist technical support team with advanced questions.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.Five plus years of software development experience.Ability to develop software using Java EE / Spring / JavaScript.Experience configuring and managing AWS environments.Strong understanding of software design patterns.Knowledge of Relational Databases (PostgreSQL preferred but not required).Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies and release process.
Preferred:
Experience with DICOM/HL7.Experience with Sencha ExtJS.Terraform/Cloud formation/AWS CDK or other Infrastructure as Code.Knowledge of containerization and deploying apps on Amazon Web Services.Experience building and working in a mostly automated CI/CD pipeline.Familiarity with test frameworks.
