Scrollytelling Developer (React, WordPress, Lottie)

As a Scrollytelling Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing interactive stories using React, WordPress, and animation tools like Lottie. You will work closely with our clients team of writers, designers, and developers to create scrollytelling experiences that captivate and engage users from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:Develop interactive storytelling experiences using React and WordPress.Integrate animations and interactive elements using Lottie and other animation tools.Collaborate with designers to implement visually compelling story elements.Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all projects.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Participate in the creative process to brainstorm and conceptualize innovative storytelling ideas.Maintain and improve the codebase for long-term sustainability.

Qualifications:Strong proficiency in React, including hooks and context API.Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.Proficiency in using animation tools like Lottie for web animations.Understanding of responsive design and development practices.Experience with front-end development tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.A portfolio showcasing previous scrollytelling or interactive projects.Nice to Have:Experience with other animation libraries or tools (GSAP, Three.js).Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
