Senior Java Developer with Clould experience [MAX NP 1 month]

Project Description:One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support cloud-based enterprise information system in Oil & Gas domain.Our project is stable, long-term and constantly adopts new technologies.

DevOps practice is tasked with the development, provisioning, operations, and performance of a global, multi-region, multi-cloud software as a service, and developer integration platform.

Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles.Our team is senior, supportive and friendly. Responsibilities:• Working within the Scrum team designing and implementing new features and services• Maintain a high level of quality in your output and test your own work before passing to QA for verification• Be able to manage a team that is geographically spread• Support of production environments• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role• Communicate and escalate issues in a clear and timely manner Mandatory Skills:• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering ore equivalent• 7-10 years of software development experience with excellent understanding of design principles and considerations, best practice• Experience with Java, Nodejs, Java, Python, C# is required. C++ is a plus• Experience with Wildfly/Springboot is desirable• Knowledge of developing applications for the cloud - AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker are required• Experience working with RDBMS databases (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server etc), NO SQLs is required• Should have experience working with Authorization Protocols (OIDC,SAML).• Any UI experience such as Angular, React, ASP.NET is a plus• Familiarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as: Jenkins, Gitlab, Gradle.• Experience writing unit tests• Working in an Agile development environment and actively contributing to Sprint planning and other ceremonies• Must be self-motivated but needs to work well in a team environment• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills• Self-Starter; willing to learn new technologies, ability to learn fast• Team player; willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on problem solving Nice-to-Have Skills:• Detailed understanding of Unix/Linux Internals, Memory management would be good to have• Expertise with business process orchestration tools and capabilities (JBPM, Kogito)• Experience working with Message queues (Active MQ, Kafka etc)• Domain knowledge in Oil and Gas Industry Languages:English: B2 Upper Intermediate
