About The Role

You will have the opportunity to work with our Global Team to provide quality services to external managed service clients as well as internal business units. This job will offer you opportunities to work in diverse environments and be responsible for the provision of system support across multiple domains, design/quote/delivery projects as well as consulting and pre-sales opportunities.

About You

You will have a Microsoft technology stack knowledge with experience in Database development using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Developer. You will bring experience in GIT (desirable) and also knowledgeable of development methodologies and intimate knowledge of SDLC. You are an excellent interpersonal and communicator dedicated to meet initiative deadlines and have an eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.You have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and appropriate tertiary qualifications and a a passion for software development and working in a modern software development business which is customer centric. Proven, hands-on experience with PL/SQL development and worked as an Oracle SQL Developer with all around Automations PL/SQL Developer and experience working with software solutions involving direct customer or Operations interaction. You have a degree in Software programming, Computer Science or Engineering with experience in the utility/energy industry and have intermediate to professional level English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Work individually or within a team on software product consulting projects to meet specific customer requirements. May include support, maintenance, and administration. Work directly with the client and may travel to the client site. Provide technical direction and guidance to the delivery team and take responsibility for project deliverables through all phases of the SDLC. This may include but not limited to the following:

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop Technical Specifications documents and Design and programming of agreed developments/modifications to the system. Assist other developers in the design of their components and Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure understanding of client’s requirements. Assist Business Analysts with defining customer requirements while providing Unit testing of code and quality assurance of system. Resolve issues relating to the integration of project deliverables and system promotions to existing and new customers. Identify situations where the system must be customized to meet client requirements.Prepare estimates of the labor hours and calendar time required to implement proposed changes to the software or correct root causes of operational problems including accurately estimating time frames required to complete assigned tasks.
