Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Power BI solutions. The Power BI Developer will play a key role in our data analytics and reporting team, responsible for creating visually engaging and data-driven dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to end-users.Data Modeling: Create data models within Power BI using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy in data analysis.Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases, cloud services, and flat files, to extract and transform data for reporting purposes.Data Visualization: Utilize Power BI's visualization capabilities to present data in an understandable and visually appealing manner, incorporating best practices for data storytelling.Report Optimization: Monitor and optimize Power BI reports for performance, making necessary adjustments to improve query performance and user experience.Data Security: Implement and maintain data security and access controls within Power BI to ensure sensitive information is protected.Automation: Develop automated data refresh schedules and notifications to keep reports up to date.Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure the reports align with business objectives.Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for Power BI reports, data sources, and best practices for report development.Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members to ensure they can effectively use and interact with Power BI reports and dashboards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, etc.) or equivalent work experience.Power BI certification is must.Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development.Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and M language.Experience in data visualization and report design.Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
