Ada Meher is currently resourcing for a candidate to join their market-leading client who are looking to add to their existing Development Team due to the demands of their current projects as well as plans to develop a new product suite. The majority of the projects are greenfield in nature, using the latest in Typescript and Vuejs/Nuxt technology on the frontend as well some Laravel and AWS based microservices on the backend, with a smaller proportion of the work focused the refactoring of older code to move the products over from monolith to microservice. This role will be focused in the Frontend so skills in PHP/Laravel are not required.

This role is able to be worked remotely, with limited requirement to travel to the Sheffield office and business need basis. There is great flexibility in hours as the company empowers staff to deliver their workload autonomously and in keeping with other life commitments. They believe in hiring the right people and giving them space to deliver.

The ideal candidate will have both the experience working with in vanilla Typescript and relevant frameworks, preferably Vue.js (v2+), and be enthused by the chance to develop their skill set, constantly learning with the help of the standardised training and development budget put aside for courses and certifications. The new projects will all be designed on a Microservice architecture however there is no need for prior experience in these areas and therefore this role can offer a great chance for a candidate who wants to make a tranisition into more modern web application builds.

To be considered:

Demonstrable experience of Typescript/Vuejs DevelopmentDemonstrable experience with relevant frameworks (Preferably Vue.js v2+ but others are equally fine)Expeirence with Nuxt would be a benefitExperience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or TailwindGit or similar for version controlAny knowledge of AWS/Docker is desirable but not essential
