Java Curam Developer

Job Description: Our public sector client is looking for a senior Java Curam Developer to develop part of the claims management system and integrate with other systems. ResponsibilitiesLead agile software development activities as part of the Claims Team.Develop one or more parts of the Claims Management System and integration with other systems, including designing to fit into the enterprise architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution.Participate in agile activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement, promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).9-12 years of Java-Cúram development work experience.Experience as a lead developer, planning and implementing complex enterprise applications in Java-Cúram.Excellent demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, applying logical reasoning and sound technical and/or business knowledge.Excellent ability to grasp complex concepts and guide the activities of system and subject matter experts on solutions and optional technical approaches.Extensive experience building large scale, complex, interdependent systems.Extensive experience with development and testing in a Cúram environment.Knowledge of .Net would be highly regarded.Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification such as SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
