Role: IBM Sterling Order Management System Developer
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM Sterling Order Management System Developer to join our dynamic team. As the OMS Developer, you will play a crucial role participating in the design, development, and implementation of innovative Order Fulfillment solutions using IBM Sterling OMS. You will be responsible for designing and developing high quality code and configurations, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and maintaining the overall integrity of the OMS platform.
Key Responsibilities:• Create technical designs, independently code, unit test to ensure code quality, and deploy various components of IBM Sterling Commerce OMS.• Perform database design for custom components.• Writing code for custom APIs, extend transactions, events, DB extensions etc.• Support various phases of testing in an agile delivery framework.• Apply strong design, development, and troubleshooting skills in work to deliver quality.• Take initiative to learn new concepts in IBM Sterling OMS technologies on cloud at a rapid pace.• Foster an environment of team collaboration.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• 2-5 years strong experience using Java/J2EE, XML, XSD, XSL, SOAP, REST Webservice, IBM MQ and latest Java/J2EE concepts.• At least 2 years of strong IBM Sterling OMS development experience.• Proven experience in a OMS Developer role with a track record of successful project implementations.• Strong expertise in IBM Sterling Product Suite including OMS, Call Center, Sterling Store, Inventory Visibility and Order Hub.• Excellent understanding of e-commerce concepts, best practices, and industry standards.• Knowledge of docker, CI/CD build and deployments pipelines.• Problem solving and code debugging skills in a large distributed application.• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:• Experience with Order Management on Cloud implementations.• UI development experience for Sterling Call Center, Sterling Store and Order Hub.• Development experience with Java Microservices.
