ClientDataArt's client is a prominent American financial institution located in New York with more than $30 billion in assets under management.

Project overviewWe're expanding the team to help develop a new system for them. For now, the team consists of 20 people on the DataArt side (.NET developers, QA, BA, DevOps).

Position overviewWe are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our Agile project team working on a greenfield project to build a highly performant, scalable, business-centric data and workflow delivery platform.

Participation in the project will allow you to develop professionally, as well as to learn many aspects of the modern financial market. Most importantly the architecture is focused on how data is shared between systems and processes to ensure scalability and growth.

ResponsibilitiesWork with Python frameworks like FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemyManage databases, including RDB (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and MongoDBUtilize RabbitMQ as a message brokerOperate in the Azure cloud environmentImplement logging using ELK and SentryDemonstrate an understanding of Distributed SystemsMonitor applications and distributed systems for performance and stabilityOptionally, work with templating for Kubernetes (K8s) and Argo CDApply expertise in fintech projects, including bonds and CLOs, and have an interest in financial product mechanicsSpecialize in data-centric web application developmentBuild distributed, containerized, and cloud-agnostic applicationsExhibit a deep understanding of Python data structures and their performance implicationsWrite clean and well-documented codeCollaborate effectively in small teams of 2-3 developersTake ownership of deliverables and work independentlyFocus on testing and ensure thorough testing of codeAdapt to changing requirements and excel in a fast-paced environment
