The bank predominantly acts as an organization that attempts to fight poverty by offering developmental assistance to middle- and low-income countries. Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development.
Responsibilities:Technical design, coding, database changes, configuration, unit testing, UAT and technical support in the area of Personnel Administration and Benefits Administration. Work items may include the following items, but are not limited to:
Implementation of new benefits;Automation of processing of medical benefits;Implementation of new compensation items;Automation of HR Actions and HR Processing;Creation and changes to HR reports;Addition and enhancement to HR Reminders;Implementation of Employment Verification Letters;Enhancements to Visa processing;Enforcement of new eligibility rules for staff on assignments;New integrations with external benefit vendors and or HR modules;Enhancement of self service capabilities.
Overall expectations:Developers are expected to have regular check-ins and status meetings with WBG technical lead and project manager.Developers are expected to work as a team and collaborate with other developers/project team members to meet agreed deadlines.Code produced must be tested by the developer prior to UAT testing. The code must successfully pass UAT testing and include test scenarios as included in business requirement document that will be provided to the team.
Mandatory Skills Description:Peoplesoft HCM and 6+ years of relevant experience in building Peoplesoft systems using PeopleSoft and Database technologies. Advanced knowledge of People Tools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, People code, SQR, and overall excellent technical skills on the Peoplesoft Development platform.PeopleSoft Global Payroll knowledge with strong technical knowledge with exposure to Integrations using Integration brokers, Application Packages, Application Engines, PeopleCode and APIsAdvanced knowledge of SQR programming for producing complex SQL's.Ability to pick up new business processes and technologies quickly.Advanced understanding of Payroll business and Payroll related terms in general.Excellent ability to write complex and optimally tuned SQL queries. Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment to support other technical staff, as needed.Ability to work independently and deliver timely results.
