Join our team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and experience working with APIs. Familiarity with Retool for internal tooling is considered a significant asset.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development:- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.- Implement scalable and efficient APIs to support frontend applications and integrations.- Optimize server-side performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

Database Management:- Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance for large-scale applications.- Implement data migration and transformation processes as required.

API Integration:- Integrate with third-party APIs to enable seamless data exchange and functionality.- Develop custom APIs for internal and external use, adhering to industry best practices.- Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues to ensure smooth integration with frontend and backend systems.

Internal Tooling with Retool:- Utilize Retool to build internal tools and dashboards for various business functions.- Customize Retool components and workflows to streamline internal processes.- Train team members on using and maintaining Retool applications as needed.

Collaboration and Documentation:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and codebase changes.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development with a strong focus on backend technologies.Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL is a plus.Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
