Job Description

Cognosante is looking for a motivated, hands-on Snowflake UI/UX Developer with strong logic and interpersonal skills who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing Data Ecosystem (DE) team (Enterprise Data Warehousing combined with Analytics). As a Snowflake UI/UX Developer, you will work with the Director of Data and Analytics to lead the strategy and implementation for the data integration solution. The technical domain of the Snowflake UI/UX Developer includes supporting the Director with developing analytics User Interfaces to deliver insights to decision makers. You will need to clearly identify goals for data management, translate user needs to a design, and can create User Interface and User Experience along with detailed documentation. Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy innovative applications to surface insights to users and decisions makersAssist with database design and development while managing database access for application development and deploymentDesigning maintenance procedures, disaster recovery procedures, and operationalizing these proceduresLiaise with other programmers, applications/operational staff, IT project managers and other technical staffLeverage your expertise in Streamlit to design and implement user-friendly interfacesWork with REST APIs to seamlessly integrate external functionalities and data into the web applicationTroubleshoot and resolve any challenges related to interfaces and API integrationsShiny Experience (Desirable):bring your experience with Shiny to enhance the overall functionality and user experienceDefine objectives through consultation with staff at all levelsWrite reports, documentation, and operating manualsTest and modify to ensure that they operate reliablyProvide user training, support and feedback

Required Qualifications (Bullets)

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field. (4 years of experience can be substitute for degree)Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on web application development2-4 years expertise in using Streamlit for creating interactive and data-driven applicationsHands-on experience working with REST APIs and integrating them into Python applicationsProficient in Python and its web development frameworksExcellent understanding of front-end and back-end technologiesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsEffective communication and collaboration within a team setting

Preferred Qualifications (Bullets)

4 years experience in Python and its web development frameworksHands-on working with REST APIs and integrating them into Python applicationsSnowPro Core Certification or higher level certification (Example’s: Snowflake SnowPro Advanced: Architect, Snowflake SnowPro Advanced: Administrator, Snowflake SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer)Cloud-based ETL, Data Quality, or MDM certifications in of the following Technologies: Talend, AWS, Azure, Informatica, etc.Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BIAgile/Scrum CertificationLean Six Sigma

Compensation

$96,760.98 - $154,817.56

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees.
