Modes is looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer to become an integral part of our Delivery team. We seek a professional passionate about leveraging cloud computing capabilities to empower Financial Services organizations. As a Senior MuleSoft Developer at Modes, your primary role will be working with clients daily to ensure seamless solutions orchestration and target deliverables. You'll work collaboratively with a diverse team of technical and non-technical members, managing and executing projects of various magnitudes and strategic significance. As a subject matter expert, you'll be actively involved throughout all project stages, from scoping and design to implementation and deployment, focusing on MuleSoft initiatives to provide superior value to our clients. Your Role: As a Senior Mulesoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and APIs on the MuleSoft Platform to meet our clients' enterprise needs. You will work with other team members and client stakeholders to ensure the solutions we deliver are aligned with client target business outcomes. You demonstrate a high degree of ownership in your work and can excel in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. From a technical perspective, you should be able to:Lead the integration patterns and technical direction of MuleSoft API and Integration projectsWith team members, actively participate and lead in the scoping, design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications including working closely with client stakeholders throughout the processGather detailed technical requirements in support of client business outcomes and work with team members to present solution requirements and design elements to client stakeholders.Design, develop, and deploy API integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and related product components.Independently analyze application and system problems and incidents and develop recommendations and solutions for those problemsDevelop and maintain detailed technical solution documentation for MuleSoft solutions delivered to clientsParticipate in calls with clients or potential clients to discuss requirements/wants/needs, debug issues, and talk through complex technical topicsConduct demo sessions and participate in providing estimates for project proposals Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience5+ years of hands-on experience in developing integrations and APIs with MuleSoftExperience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management and CloudHubStrong understanding of cloud computing and micro-services architectures, with a background in API design and Web ServicesAbility to program in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQLExperience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutions and explaining the benefits of various application integration patternsComfortable working with client stakeholders to obtain solution requirements and ability to provide end-to-end solutions, along with proven experiences implementing those solutions and participating in solutions meetings with clients.Experience collaborating with project team members in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and budgets. Ability to work in distributed and virtual teams with a desire to collaborate with and mentor other team membersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences, including both business and technicalExperience with agile development and industry-standard tools and methodologiesIntegration experience with Salesforce and knowledge of the Financial Services industry is preferredMuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2 or higher required (or equivalent)

Nice to haves: Experience within the Financial Services Industry and systems such as Core Banking, etc. Salesforce admin or developer certification
