Senior Backend Software Developer (m/w) - Ref. 240202

MAIN PURPOSE

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Software Developer to work for one of our clients, a major international sport organization. You will reinforce the Digital Legal team in charge of the conception, implementation, and support of the new Digital Legal systems in our client (including three Web portals, a case management Back-Office and their integrations).

You will participate in all the stages in the life cycle of those systems, following Agile methodologies and good practices in design, documentation, programming, and security. A good attitude towards learning different technologies is a required as the position will comprehend mainly back-end related duties but also some DevOps ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Communicate in fluent spoken and written English with technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organization.· Collaborate with other Architecture, Development, and DevOps teams in delivering a high-quality product.· Design the new features of the Digital Legal systems and make architectural decisions with the agreement of the Product Owner.· Coding in different languages and frameworks: Java / J2EE, Spring, Javascript, SQL.· Develop the new functionality requested by the client and maintain the currently existing one.· Enrich the DevOps platform to automate and control the SW delivery process.· Produce and review technical documentation for the before mentioned elements.· Be responsible for the quality of your own work and the rest of the development team.

REQUIREMENTS

· Senior IT professional with proven experience (5+ years) eager to learn.· Hold a B.Sc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.· Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels) in fluent English.· Solid technical background and architectural skills.· Hands-on experience with software development, especially in back end.· Mastering the REST API architectural principles.· Knowledge building containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) to be run on an AWS cloud platform.· Understanding AngularJS or other similar front-end technologies is a plus.· Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.· Disposition & ability to travel.
