Software Developer in Test Intern 8 Months - Summer 2024

Summary/About The Opportunity

As a Software Developer in Test Intern for the HRSD team, we will expect the intern to be professional and master the basics of a remote corporate environment. The Test Engineer Intern will be heavily involved in the team’s sprint work including test cases, quality assurance verification, automation implementation and development work. There will also be many meetings to ensure that the work is clear, and the work is progressing in a timely fashion.

Primary Responsibilities/ What You’ll Get To Do

The Software Developer in Test Intern will be responsible for retaining any training given to them related to the team’s process and to follow the process. The responsibilities and training will be broken into three parts.

Understanding the process by writing test cases along with following the test cases when reviewing a story.Receive training on the automation framework and assisting with the maintenance and building of the automation framework. Automation Framework is primarily used for regression testing and verification. Receive training and assist with development stories that may or may not encapsulate C#, SQL or Javascript.

Qualifications/Skills And Experience We Value

Proficiency in C#Demonstrated experience and proficiency in C# programming language, including its frameworks and best practices.Strong SQL Skills:Proven ability to work with SQL databases, write complex queries, and optimize database performance.Proficiency in JavaScriptSolid understanding and practical experience in JavaScript development, including frameworks and libraries.
