PHP Developer

Title: IT Developer Level: IntermediateStart date: ASAP Duration: 1 year (possibility of renewal)Location: Montréal, Trois-Rivières, La Baie (Remote work - presence required at the office approx. 1 day/3 months) Position Summary:Using Agile method, the developer is to code / test and review part of the software. He will also help the team with the operational tasks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient codeDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.Implementation of security and data protectionESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS ACADEMIC TRAININGPossess a bachelor's degree in IT or other related disciplines. WORK EXPERIENCE3+ years’ experience designing and coding for production applications.Proficiency in PHP, PHP UI programming languageStrong knowledge of basic understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle / SQL / GCPKnowledge of Node.js for server-side developmentUnderstanding of front-end frameworksFamiliarity with jQuery for DOM manipulation and event handlingExperience with DockersAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
