Position: Summer Intern (April 1 to August 30, 2024) - Student Placement ProgramLocation: Calgary, Alberta - RemoteSchedule: 3 days per week remoteWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated summer intern to join our team. As part of the Student Placement program, the intern will play a key role in contributing to our mission of advancing environmental data management solutions.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and maintain Django applications.· Utilize strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Polars) and proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Dash and Plotly.· Demonstrate familiarity with PostgreSQL and Docker.· Possess knowledge of Tailwind CSS and Flowbite.· Have experience with various AWS cloud services, including RDS – Aurora, ECR, Elastic Beanstalk.· Understand CI/CD integration and compliance using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, and CodePipeline.· Familiarity with Next JS, Typescript, and REACT.· Understand data pipelines and have experience with REST API.· Knowledge of GHG quantification and reporting is considered an asset.Qualifications:Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen to meet the requirements of the Student Placement program.What We Offer:Exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge startup environment.Hands-on experience in the dynamic field of environmental and sustainability reporting framework.Exposure to a wide range of technologies and tools.Collaborative and inclusive team culture.If you are a forward-thinking individual with a passion for sustainability and technology, we invite you to apply.
