Role DescriptionThis is a remote contract role for a Senior Salesforce Developer. This role involves developing robust software solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, including experience with APEX, Aura, LWC, and Lightning, as well as a solid understanding of Salesforce configurations and integrations.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirectly work with clients to understand their requirements, gather feedback on developed solutions, and ensure the final product aligns with their expectations. This involves regular communication, demonstrations of progress, and agile responsiveness to client feedback.Develop and maintain software solutions using Salesforce technologies, following industry standards and best practices for coding, to ensure maintainability and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand defects and coordinate timely fixes, working closely with the QA team for validation.Perform unit testing and automate processes where applicable, ensuring code quality and functionality.Manage integration of changes across environments, overseeing smooth deployment.Maintain and update technical documentation for software solutions, producing documentation for new features and changes.Provide daily updates on feature development status to technical leads, product owners, and scrum masters.

Requirements8+ years of experience in software development within the Salesforce ecosystem.Profound knowledge of Salesforce technologies, including APEX, Aura, LWC, Lightning, Salesforce B2B, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.Experience with Salesforce integrations and understanding of integration patterns.Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients, including strong verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, and the capacity to present solutions effectively.Experience in managing client expectations, navigating complex requirements, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.Demonstrated ability to conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are met.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to offer comprehensive technical guidance.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced in managing multiple iterations on enterprise products.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
