Role DescriptionWe are looking to add an associate full stack software engineer I to our team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role encompassing coding, technical leadership, and guiding the future of ManageBetter.
We seek an individual passionate about development and adept at collaborating closely with customers.
The core team is located in Seattle, but due to the pandemic, we are now a remote team. You can live anywhere in Canada as long as you can keep up with regular business hours.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and build responsive web applications.Implement UI components and cloud-based databases.Contribute to a quality end-user experience.Integrate cross-platform architecture and product software.Meet or exceed monthly performance goals.Propose new ideas and developments to the product design team.Collaborate with the team to continuously improve development processes and methodologies.Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.Actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
QualificationsFamiliarity with Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.Understand software development, testing, and code review best practices.Self-motivated learner with a strong sense of urgency.Able to work independently and flexible to change.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Startup experience and/or open-source contributions.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Vercel.Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and principles.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
