Job Description for Software Engineer

The candidate will develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle. Must evaluate alternate approaches by analysis, problem definition, requirements while developing solutions. The position will offer candidate the chance to be part of cutting edge technologies in web and mobility solutions

Job Responsibilities

The candidate must have programming experience in Microsoft Technologies such as C#, and Net Standard/.Net Core, ASP.Net and/or cross platform mobile technology.Expertise in using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Client side JavaScript frameworks for e.g. AngularJS, React.Well versed in designing data base structure preferably using MS SQL Server database softwareFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesExperience with software design and development in a test-driven environmentProduce clean, efficient code based on specificationsShould have integration experience of software components using API’sInvolve in product release cycles and analysis of deliverablesParticipating actively in daily stand up meetings and other internal meetingsGood communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable· Candidate having Geospatial (web) and mobile application development experience using any ESRI technologies such as ESRI ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Experience / WebApp builder, AppStudio, ArcGIS Enterprise SDK would be preferred.· Knowledge of Global Experience Language (GEL)Preference will be given to candidates who hold or held SC security clearance in past

Education/ExperienceBachelors or Master’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Geo Informatics or equivalentA minimum of 2-4 years of programming experience in web or mobile software development projects using Microsoft technology and/or cross platform mobile technology.
