Microsoft DataBricks Developer

We are hiring for Microsoft DataBricks Developer for our client's project based fully Remotely in Netherlands

Requirement Description:Require a ETL/DataBricks developer for support the Global Life Health business. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external clients to deliver the best-in-class solutions for the Life Health portfolio of projects. The developer will be responsible for turning user stories and requirements into PySpark notebooks. They should be comfortable with Azure Data Lake and cloud technology or be willing to learn new technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong data background in database technologies and ETL. This is an international project and requires a flexible schedule to work with teams around the globe. Core business hours are flexible. Specific responsibilities:Work with Project Manager and stakeholders to develop and maintain ETL codeWork with Business Analysts and Report Developers to translate requirements into actionable data modelling user storiesProactively identify issues and plan for the remediation.Manage DataBricks workflow releasesProvide DataBricks Production support Experience/Skills Required:Expert level experience with DataBricks and PySparkExperience working with Azure Data LakeStrong MS SQL Server development experienceData warehousing and data modelling experienceAbility to work directly with business usersAbility to work/meet during flexible hours. This person will need to coordinate with international users. Additional Experience/Skills Desired:Experience with Power BI would be a plusExperience with Microsoft SSIS would be a plusExperience with Microsoft Purview would be a plusKnowledge of Agile / MS DevOps would be a plusExperience with Microsoft DevOps would be a plusRe-insurance or insurance knowledge is preferred Education Required:Undergraduate or graduate degree in an Information Technology or Management Information Systems discipline or significant, hands-on related work experience will be considered.
