Python Developer

Role: Python DeveloperSalary: Up to £55,000 DOELocation: United Kingdom (Fully Remote)

My client is looking to welcome a Python Developer into their team, to enhance and develop high-quality software solutions, with a significant focus on cloud engineering, particularly within AWS environments. You will contribute to both cloud infrastructure management and the development of scalable, efficient, and high-performance applications that meet our business need. You will be instrumental in integrating cloud services and resources into their software solutions, dedicating approximately 20% of your time to cloud engineering tasks and 80% to Python product development.

Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Python applications that are scalable, efficient, and optimised, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practicesWrite reusable, testable, and efficient codeCloud Engineering Configure, manage, and optimise AWS cloud resources to support application scalability, availability, and securityImplement and manage cloud services integration into applications, including AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and moreWork closely with the rest of the development team to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with server-side logic and front-end elementsIdentify and resolve technical challenges related to both Python development and AWS cloud servicesOptimise applications for maximum performance and scalabilityAssist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment processes, focusing on cloud-based solutions and servicesCreate and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, application design, and deployment proceduresStay up-to-date with the latest in Python development and AWS cloud services, adopting new technologies and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with AWS cloud services. Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and best practices.Cloud Engineering: Proven ability to design, implement, and manage solutions using AWS. Understanding of cost management and optimisation in the cloud.Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing both development and cloud-related challenges.Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with development teams, stakeholders, and external partners.Innovation and Adaptability: Creative thinking in applying cloud solutions to improve application performance and scalability. Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and environments. Attention to Detail: Commitment to high-quality development practices and a meticulous approach to cloud engineering and security.
