Tableau Developer with Redshift and SQL Server Experience/ Analytics- Data Analyst 1. Tableau Expertise: - Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Extracts. - Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, data connections, and data blending. - Ability to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau. 2. Data Visualization: - Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. - Skilled in designing intuitive and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate insights. - Knowledge of different chart types, color palettes, and visual elements to represent data accurately. 3. Data Analysis and Modeling: - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. - Experience in data modeling, including data preparation, cleansing, and transformation. - Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to extract and manipulate data. 4. Advanced Tableau Functionality: - Proficiency in using advanced Tableau features like calculated fields, parameters, and table calculations. - Ability to create complex calculations, custom functions, and conditional formatting in Tableau - Must know level of detail calculations. 5. Performance Optimization: - Understanding of performance optimization techniques to enhance the speed and efficiency of Tableau dashboards. - Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data queries and visualizations. 6. Redshift and SQL Server Expertise: - Extensive experience in working with Redshift as a data source for Tableau, including data modeling, data extraction, and query optimization. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases. - Familiarity with database features such as indexing, performance tuning, and data security, for Redshift and SQL Server and use them to optimize tableau extracts creation.
