Who You Are

You're a mid to senior-level Solana Developer known for your self-sufficiency and top-notch organizational and communication skills. You are ready to dive into an exciting work environment and will commit around 40 hours per week on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for extension based on performance. The monthly salary range that we have in mind for this position is $5k-$6k.

Your expertise in Solana blockchain development sets you apart, and your knack for navigating complex systems effortlessly makes you an ideal fit for our team. You deeply understand blockchain technologies, with a keen focus on Solana's ecosystem.

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility in your work location, preferably for candidates based in South Africa or Europe.

Skills

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a strong focus on Rust.- Proficiency in Rust, and familiarity with Solana.- Experience with smart contract development and deployment on the Solana blockchain.- Understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Solana network.- Solid grasp of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows, ensuring high-quality version control and integration practices.- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, facilitating clear and effective interactions.- Ideally located within or close to the CET timezone for synchronous collaboration.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other blockchain technologies, broadening the scope of potential solutions and innovations.- Familiarity with frontend and backend development technologies, enhancing the integration of Solana-based applications with various platforms.
