Role DescriptionThe technical consultant role at SCS Cloud is the perfect combination of technical and functional expertise. The NetSuite Technical Consultant position is responsible for working with clients to implement, configure, and support the NetSuite system and develop automations, integrations and enhancements. This includes working with clients to design efficient business processes that align with the NetSuite software application, configure the software to meet client business processes, and document the business processes. The position focuses on working with clients to design technical solutions that allow their NetSuite environment to be more tailored to the business needs, automated and more integrated with other business applications. This focuses on a process from requirements gathering, solution design and then utilizing NetSuite SuiteScript to build and deploy these technical solutions.This position requires a self-managing individual with solid experience in development on the NetSuite platform as well as a functional understanding of the NetSuite system and various modules within it.

Main duties include:● Provides NetSuite development based on approved solution designs.● Aligning all development with SCS Cloud standards and best-practices while coding.● May conduct business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions, both on-site and remote, with new and existing customers to determine technical development requirements.● High level process analysis, process recommendations, and transactional flow analysis to incorporate into technical solutions.● Evaluates, troubleshoots and resolves customer requests related to functionality developed by oneself or others.● Performs data migration services including data cleansing, file manipulation, file mapping and other project-related data tasks.● Deliver onsite or web-based walkthroughs of functionality developed or built for specific clients.● Achieves master level competency in the NetSuite core product.● Able to Travel as required.

Qualifications● Experience leading or participating in NetSuite ERP implementations or service engagements, including planning, delegation, status updates, functional and technical work, process flow discovery, design and mapping, training, testing, go-live support and project management.● Minimum 2 years of experience in development, ideally with some NetSuite SuiteScript experience.● Experience in effectively managing multiple tasks, related expectations with teammates, and context switching between projects.● Responsive to internal and external clients, able to provide a quick response time and ability to handle a dynamic environment that often requires multi-tasking.● Experience in working within the framework of a scope of work.

Skills and/or Licensing/Certification(s) Required:● NetSuite Suite Foundation or Developer or equivalent experience preferred,● Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,● Experience in Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides preferred,● Strong command of English Language both verbal and written,● Ability to develop and maintain team and client relationships,

Responsibilities/Expectations● Maintain billable utilization of 80%.● Actively participate and contribute to SCS Cloud’s delivery of technical solutions to clients.● Responsible for attending initial Solution Design meetings and leading specific process areas.● Responsible for maintaining process diagrams, solution design documents, and leading practices for NetSuite technical development.● Identify requests that the customer asks for that are out of scope, address key concerns by presenting mutually beneficial solutions and help set appropriate customer expectations.● Work with customers to define user-acceptance-testing scenarios and ensure they are completing their testing through the implementation process.● Proactively communicate with customers and team members on the status of work in progress● Obtain and maintain NetSuite certifications.
