We are currently seeking a highly skilled PLM Web Developer and IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team in the UK. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a PLM Web Developer and IT Infrastructure Specialist. This dual role is crucial in supporting our Aras Innovator PLM projects, developing our PLM Migration Platform, and maintaining the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

The primary role for this position is as a PLM Web Developer, you will be an integral part of our project teams, collaborating to understand business requirements and designing solutions using Aras Innovator web based PLM platform. Your role encompasses the development, customization, and configuration of Aras Innovator PLM solutions tailored to meet project specifications. You will work closely with the backend Aras development team and ensure the seamless implementation of PLM solutions into our customer environments. Additionally, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our PLM Migration Platform, providing technical support and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in PLM technology.

The secondary role for this position is as a IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our virtual machine infrastructure and its physical hardware that it is running on. This includes overseeing the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of the hardware and virtual machine environment. You will administer and troubleshoot the vSphere virtualization platform and ensure the security and functionality of the Sophos firewall system. Your role extends to Active Directory administration, user management, and group policies, as well as supporting remote access solutions for secure and efficient connectivity. As part of our commitment to excellence, you will contribute to achieving ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditation by implementing and maintaining relevant IT controls. Collaboration with project teams to align IT infrastructure with quality management and information security standards, as well as participation in regular security assessments and audits, is a vital aspect of this role.

You will also have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments and provide recommendations on how to incorporate them into our PLM offerings.

For this role, you will primarily work from home with some travel to customer sites as required. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to attend international conferences and collaborate with teams across the globe.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, engineering)5+ years of experience in a technical role, with a strong understanding of PLM systems and processesExcellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challengesExperience working with clients in a consulting or professional services environment
