Job Description:

This is a senior-level role that would be well-suited to a person with at least 5 years of experience The person will report to the product owner directly This is a role for individuals who love coding and want to dedicate time to solving complex technical challenges As a senior Full Stack Developer you will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide technical support You will closely work with the development team and you may require to guide the team and take a leading role when necessary In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of Experience with core PHP Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter Understanding of MVC design patterns 3 years of Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and either React or Vue.JS You are comfortable in a Linux development environment, and with backend technologies such as Redis and queue-driven workflows in a containerized cloud stack Experience with database architecture design Experience with content distribution, CDN, and content security techniques Debugging applications to ensure low latency and high-availability Implementing security and data protection Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers Understanding accessibility and security compliance Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Experience in Python (Preferred but optional)

Working with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software Designing innovative commercial software and writing high-quality code to bring them into production Implementing new features on existing software products by solving complex implementation problems and making the appropriate technical decision Fixing bugs to permanently eliminate defects that impair product functionality Making sure to meet the project deadlines Having worked at a startup or a small company with less than 50 people is strongly preferred
