We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join the Engineering & Development department at BOLD. Join our journey in transforming our tech stack! ABOUT THIS TEAM: Our Web Development team consists of 7 members, including a Team Leader, 1 Senior Web Developer, 4 Regular Web Developers, and 1 Junior Web Developer. Operating in Agile with 1-week sprints, we align our efforts with individual OKRTs every quarter for clear direction and progress tracking. Your responsibilities will include implementing new landing pages, and contributing to developing websites for our brands.

Technologies/tools we use:

React, TypeScript & Astro/Next: building efficient user interfaces for our web applications.Git: Version control and collaboration for efficient code management.Node.js with Express: Powering our server-side environment.Nunjucks: Streamlining our templating processes [legacy - that’s what we’re in the process of moving away from].HTML & (S)CSS & JavaScript: obviously.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Senior-level mindset: you have to be able to make autonomous technical and organizational decisions, guide other team members and influence the direction we take with our projects.Strong experience with technologies such as JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS with focus on web development.Experience with GraphQl, Node.js, Express.Sense of aesthetics, pixel-perfect approach, strive for consistency both in UI/UX.Knowledge on how to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code.Experience with web performance optimization.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Very strong learning capabilities, self-driven approach, high autonomy in assigned tasks.Good Polish and English skills in both speaking and writing.

WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE:

Some experience with Vitest or React Testing Library.Background with Atlassian software (Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket).Some knowledge of template engine frameworks (Nunjucks).Experience in working in an Agile environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Implement new landing pages.Make changes on product and content pages. Provide support in creating and developing websites for various brands (e.g. InterviewMe.pl, Zety.com, ResumeLab.com, LiveCareer.).Coaching and mentoring more junior developers.Monitor and optimize performance and SEO of websites.Maintenance and development of existing applications.Code reviews.Research and implementation of new technologies.Develop and maintain documentation.Participate in dailies, plannings, retrospectives & refinements.
