WordPress Developer – Roweb

We have more than 130 people in our team having offices in Pitesti, Craiova and Bucharest.We are specialized in Web Development, E-commerce, Enterprise Application, Mobiledevelopment.We are looking for a senior full-time WordPress developer to join our team remotely, or in one of our offices.

Common responsibilities:Develop WordPress-based web projects for different clients;Implement existing themes or create custom responsive themes as required by the projectIntegrate/extend existing WordPress modules or develop new custom plugins to enable new functionalityUpdate, maintain and deploy projects in different production environmentsPerform regular updates and maintenance of the platform and ensure securityIntegrate and customize e-commerce functionality through WooCommerce:Product catalogCart & CheckoutPayment and shipping methods

You should apply if:You can track down and eradicate bugsYou can find and remediate performance issues on live sitesYou can juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyYou like to review code written by your team members to ensure quality and suggest potential improvements.You have the following technical skills:5+ years of experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and standardsBackend: advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQLFront-end: advanced proficiency with HTML, CSS, BootstrapStrong familiarity with JS (jQuery or Vue)Experience working with version control through git (GitHub / Bitbucket)Experience with e-commerce platforms and related APIs (WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal)Bonus points if you also have:Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue/ReactExperience with PHP MVC Frameworks like Laravel/Lumen)Experience working with or managing Linux environments
