Azure Data Engineer Developer

Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Developer/Support RoleExperience: 3-6 yearsWorking Nature: Remote (Chennai)Shift Timings: 2 PM – 11 PM and 12 PM - 9 PM

Mandatory Skills:• Azure Data Engineering technologies, specifically Databricks and PySpark• Development and support role• Experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse, and other Azure services• Familiarity with Teradata/Snowflake• Proficiency in Python and working with file formats like JSON & Parquet

Technical Requirements:• 5 to 8 years of IT & Azure Data Engineering experience• Proficient in ETL, data pipelines, and data flow techniques using Azure Data Services• Experience in developing ADF Pipelines and Databricks notebooks for data processing• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and data warehousing, preferably Teradata• Familiarity with deployment and monitoring techniques, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and integration with source repositories• Understanding of Datawarehouse concepts and modelling• Experience with SNOW incident resolution, change requests, service requests, and reporting• Ability to collaborate with project teams for efficient data delivery

Non-technical Requirements:• Agile mindset from estimation to deployment• Ability to manage multiple project tasks concurrently and prioritize strategically• Proven teamwork skills within virtual teams across different locations• Willingness to visit client locations for one week if required
