Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a talented Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team at OpenTensor. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of backend technologies and a passion for open-source development.

Responsibilities: Design and implement robust backend services, focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalability.Develop and maintain asynchronous programming models using threading, greenlets, gevent, aiohttp, async & await, and twisted.Engage in the entire lifecycle of services, from design to coding, testing, and deployment.Create and manage web and API services using Django and Flask, leveraging Tastypie and Django REST Framework (DRF) for optimal performance.Build and maintain crawlers, scrapers, and bots to support data aggregation and analysis.Contribute to the development of artificial intelligence models and integrate AI technologies into backend systems.Work on GUI development to ensure seamless integration with backend systems.Implement and optimize search systems, filesystems, schedulers, plugins, and metaclasses.Design self-healing and failure-tolerant systems to ensure service reliability and resilience.Actively contribute to open-source projects and engage with the open-source community to drive innovation.

Qualifications: Extensive experience in backend development, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in the required technical areas.Proficiency in asynchronous programming, networking, and the development of GUIs.Deep understanding of Django and Flask for web and API development.Experience with crawlers, scrapers, and bots.Knowledge of search systems, filesystems, schedulers, plugins, and metaclasses.Proven ability to build self-healing and failure-tolerant systems.Experience with scaling applications and knowledge of best practices for optimizing performance.Passion for open-source development and a history of contributing to open-source projects.
