Dotnet Developer

.NET Developer | 6 month Contract | Up to €200

Pearson Carter are working with a MS Gold Partner who specialize in long term contracts for their contractors. This assignment for a UK insurance client is expected to last up to 12 months.

We are looking for a contactor to begin in the next 2 weeks to begin this role.

Responsibilities:Implement solutions as per technical design and participate in design activities as requiredPlanning and estimation of development tasks as part of the SCRUM team and strive for accuracy while meeting deadlinesParticipate in the full development lifecycle of new functionality and enhancements on greenfield and existing applicationsCommitment to producing high quality, highly performant and robust software within agreed time estimates and to agreed quality standardsParticipate in changes, and continuous improvements to existing software development, testing and deployment processesAbility to work hands on in a fast-paced, agile work environment supporting your colleagues as required

Experience:5+ Years of .NET development experience3+ Years C# development experienceStrong experience with Ubuntu APT.Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, HTML & CSS skillsExperience unit testing (Jest, Mocha, NUnit, Moq etc)Experience building RESTful APIsExperience working with ASP.NET Core MVCCSS pre-processing such as SASS, SCSS or LESSExperience working with Git and related contribution workflows (feature branches, pull requests etc.)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper etc.)Experienced in utilizing the power of Microsoft AzureExperience with test-driven development and behavioural driven development.Experience using SpecFlow(optional)Experience with Agile Development and SCRUMExperience with Azure DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Continuous Testing and Infrastructure as Code

Salary:They offer an excellent daily rate of up to €200.
