The Role The role is part of our Asset Management business, where we develop the K2 solution which is a functionality rich Asset, Facilities and Estates Management solution which is used in the Local Government, Higher Education, NHS and Charity sectors. The K2 eco system comprises of a desktop application, a responsive MVC customer portal and windows and Android mobile applications.

You will contribute to the software development process with your goal being to write top quality code whilst also ensuring that best practice solutions and approaches are employed.

What can I bring to the role? First and foremost, you will have a passion for writing high quality code. This will go hand in hand with a strong academic or vocational background and an aptitude for solving problems in an analytical and creative way. Experience in an Agile environment is handy but not essential as we can get you up to speed. You will have strong verbal and written communication and relationship building skills and a knack for clearly and effectively explaining things in a way that is easily understood by others.

We see this role as being ideal for either a graduate (with commercial work placement experience) or a junior developer who has already started their software development career and is looking for an opportunity to develop their existing skills and learn new ones.

As part of our Asset Management team, you will include but will not be limited to: C# MS SQL HTML WCF WPF Razor Syntax ASP.NET/MVC JavaScript JQuery and/or Maui/Xamarin would be a bonus. Snyk

Finally, you will be good at planning and prioritising workload whilst displaying meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work in a time pressured and deadline driven environment.
