About the Project
The client’s pricing platform is a service facade that unifies the complex process of insurance policies calculations under one common API. This is the central system for calculations, which will be used by other customer applications that collect information for insurance policies.
Here we convert a large amount of data, develop a convenient API, orchestrate the distributed tasks, proceed with versioning of parameters, and implement efficient calculations delivering results at a speed that makes the complex business transactions possible.
The project is currently developed using Java 17, Kotlin 1.8, Spring Boot 3, Spring Security, PostgreSQL, MyBatis, Spring Data, Liquibase, Camunda 7, Kafka, RESTful API, Maven, MS Azure, Docker, Kubernetes. The frontend incorporates Angular 17, NGRx, NodeJS, and Fastify.
What you'll be doing
Creating user-friendly web applications using frontend technologies including Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSSCollaborating within cross-functional agile teams, including UX designers, QA, BE, PO, business analysts, fully supporting and building the frontend components, establishing development best practices, and defining deadlinesOptimizing web applications for maximum speedConducting user and customer feedback sessions improving the UI of our productsActively participating in refinement sessions, collaboratively contributing on the enhancement of acceptance criteriaEncouraging technical discussions aiming at continuous product improvementStaying up to date on the latest and emerging technologiesProactively collaborating with stakeholders from different hierarchy levels and diverse backgrounds, providing support, defining deadlines, and demonstrating analytical problem-solving skills to address project complexities
Your Skills and Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree related to IT or an equivalent practical track recordEnglish proficiency (minimum B2 level)At least 2 years of professional experience as a frontend developerAt least +1 year of recent professional experience with Angular 2+Strong practical skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and UX/UI designExpertise in innovative user experience designsExperience in working with continuous integration and delivery toolsExcellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniquesUnderstanding of agile methodology for project management (SAFe is a plus)Enjoy cooperating with and supporting your team members
Will be a plus
Some backend knowhow such as Java, Node.js, databasesKnowledge of UI/UX related tools e.g. Figma, Sketch
