W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Junior .NET Developer. As a member of the Information Technology team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting existing .NET application and developing new ones. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is detail oriented, eager to learn new technologies, and able to work independently.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Interact directly with the Software Development Manager, Project Managers, and DevelopersDevelop/modify .NET application programs from detailed specificationsWorking closely with Database Administrators to provide efficient and effective delivery of informationAttending team meetings and work sessions to discuss requirements, status, changes, and updatesPosition will require work in one or all of the following technologies: Visual Studio, WCF, MVC, HTML, REST, Entity Framework

Required Qualifications:
Equivalent to bachelor s degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field)Familiar with developing applications using .NET 4+, VB/C#, ASP.NETFamiliar with developing data driven web applications. Preferred Qualifications:

Annual compensation for this position is $50,000-$60,000.
