Our current project, GenLayer, aims to integrate AI capabilities with blockchain infrastructure to enhance security, efficiency, and scalability. We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer with experience in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps) to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of GenLayer and help us achieve our goal of improving blockchain applications through AI integration.

Responsibilities:

Lead full-stack development for GenLayer, ensuring robust backend services and minimal, efficient frontend interfaces.Lead development of GenScan, a platform similar to Etherscan for GenLayer, ensuring robust functionality and user-friendly interface.Develop and maintain full-stack libraries and APIs, such as Genlayer.js, to interact with the GenLayer blockchain.Implement fullstack services using different js and frameworks, integrating seamlessly with blockchain technologies.Design and architect scalable, secure backend systems with a focus on performance and security, minimizing frontend complexity.Contribute to the development of CLI tools and backend utilities for the GenLayer network.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure frontend components align with backend logic and provide optimal user experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of JavaScript development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend technologies and full-stack capabilities.Deep knowledge of Node.js, Express, and other backend JavaScript frameworks.Deep knowledge of Vue.js, React, HTMX and other frontend JavaScript frameworks.Experience with blockchain technologies, decentralized systems, and smart contract integration.Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.

Qualifications:

Proficient in JavaScript, particularly Node.js and Express, for backend development.Comprehensive understanding of full-stack development processes, with emphasis on backend and integration.Experience in building and integrating with complex backend systems and blockchain technologies.Familiarity with Node.js and client-side libraries such as ethers.js or similar blockchain interaction libraries. Familiarity with VSCode extensions, wallet integrations, and gas estimation tools is a plus. Ability to solve complex problems, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team.Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in English.
