Contract Details:Type: Contract (1 year with a strong possibility of becoming multi-year)Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekb: $50-$55/hour, based on experience

Role Summary:As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our development projects, focusing on the creation and maintenance of APIs, building cloud-based microservices, and implementing efficient DevOps solutions. You will work closely with our team to drive the success of our projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web backend APIs for various applications.Build and deploy cloud-based microservices.Implement DevOps solutions to streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency.Collaborate within an agile environment, emphasizing iteration and feedback to continuously improve our projects.

Qualifications:5+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).5+ years of proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and/or Symfony.3+ years of experience building cloud computing microservices.Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Proficient with git and version control systems.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a high level of proficiency in English.

Good to Have:Familiarity with Docker-based development environments.Experience with Digital Ocean and droplet management.Comfortable working with Linux server management and bash shell scripting.
